Madu first came to Glencairn through Staffscanner Agency, initially working shifts with us on an agency basis. Over time, we got to know Madu well and, whenever agency cover was needed, we would often specifically ask for her.
We always aim to give residents as much consistency as possible by having familiar faces around them, and Madu was a very good fit for Glencairn from the beginning. She had a strong work ethic, nothing was ever too much trouble, and she worked extremely well as part of the team. She also built great relationships with the staff, who all enjoyed working alongside her.
Madu enjoyed working at Glencairn so much that she decided to leave the agency and join us directly. After some time, she began training to become a Senior Carer and did very well in her training.
Sadly, due to relocating, Madu left us for pastures new in March 2026. We thank her for everything she contributed during her time at Glencairn and wish her every success and happiness for the future.
